The Corelle 5K is celebrating its 8th year running! This family-friendly 5K is a great warm-up event for anyone running the full or half marathon on Sunday. It's the second race (of three) for those participating in either the Riesling or Pinot Challenge. Nearly 1,200 runners will toe the start line for a flat, out and back course that starts and finishes near War Memorial Stadium at Corning Painted-Post High School. All finishers will receive a medal.
This year's participants will receive a runner bag, a long-sleeve tee and a special edition 28-ounce Corelle bowl with logo.
Age Group Awards = First, second and third-place finishers in the age groups listed below will receive an engraved mug. Awards are based on Gun Time. Age group awards will be presented beginning at 9:00 AM.
Age Groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
Note: Awards will be available for pick up Saturday, Sunday and Monday of Wineglass Weekend at the Corning Information Center at 1 W. Market St. Awards not picked up will not be shipped to winners.

CORELLE 5K bibs can be picked up Friday, October 4th between noon-7PM at the Wineglass Expo at the Corning Museum of Glass or on race day between 6:30-7:45AM at the Corning Memorial Stadium. You may register for the 5K at the Expo on Friday, October 4th if spots are still available. There will be no race-day registration for the CORELLE 5K.
CORELLE 5K runners may exchange unused shirts for a different size on Saturday at the War Memorial Stadium immediately following the 5K race or at the Corning Information Center after that.
Runners will have one (1) hour to finish the course.
The CORELLE 5K starts at 8:00 am. The start line is on Corning Blvd near Aisne Street in Corning. Race day bib pickup is at the War Memorial Stadium starting at 6:30 am.
Yes, but all runners with strollers will start at the back of the pack.
There is plenty of parking at Corning-Painted Post High School, 201 Cantigney Street, Corning. Take a right off Corning Blvd onto Craumer Drive and follow the signs around the stadium to the high school parking lot. Parking is also available at the Corning YMCA and Corning Museum of Glass.
Yes, but the person must show verification - either a copy of the runner confirmation number or a signed letter from the runner indicating authorization to pick up - along with their ID.
